Welcome to Luxury Narrowboating in Cheshire! We are excited to offer you two fabulous narrowboats, Times Flying and Plane Sailing. Both boats offer suitable space for 4 guests very comfortably making them perfect for couples or families. With plenty of extras and no hire signage, you can truly enjoy the experience of your own narrowboat for your stay.

Hire period is from (and including) March to October.
Static stays are available in Winter months. Cosy up in front of the fire!

"Cheshire Canal Boat Hire" is a family run business operating out of Aqueduct Marina near Nantwich - established in June 2019, with the aim of hiring out our family boat for others to experience the boating life. Since then, we have expanded and now operate 2 luxurious narrowboats, Times Flying & Plane Sailing. Named after our loved of aviation!
Plane Sailing

Complete in July 2022, We offer plane sailing as 6 berth- (although fabulous for 2 adults & 2 children, giving everyone enough space) based at the beautiful Aqueduct Marina. She is perfect for a lovely getaway, and gives a true "boutique" feel. Whether you want a glass of wine on the deck or a hot chocolate in front of the toasty fire! Plane Sailing has been fitted out with exceptional eye to detail. She has been fitted out for all year around living. You are welcome to view before booking (where possible) we allow pets on this boat(on request). See individual boat tab for full boat information
Times Flying
Completed in August 2025, we offer Times flying as a 4 berth narrowboat. She is very similar layout to Plane Sailing, almost identical throughout! Times flying has a little sitting area at the Bow, perfect for reading a book whilst sailing through the Cheshire canals. Times Flying features two singles beds at the bow, with a make up double bed from the dinette.
Where to find us?
We are based at Aqueduct Marina, just outside of Nantwich, it is easily accessible from Cheshire/North Wales/Midlands. Aqueduct Marina has a fabulous onsite bar/restaurant with different events taking place and lovely well kept gardens. Another benefit of Aqueduct Marina is that there is a lock just outside, this gives us a chance to explain/demonstrate how the lock works first hand.

The location of Aqueduct Marina on the canal network gives you a wide option of routes you can take, of course we can help you and suggest routes depending on your requirements and hire period.
